Jamaican Jerk Pork

Jerk Pork is a Jamaican favorite made by seasoning pork with jerk spices, boiling it until nearly tender, then finishing on a hot grill for smoky, spicy, authentic flavor.

Ingredients

  • 2 lb pork, cut into pieces
  • 3 tbsp jerk seasoning
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp black pepper

Directions

  1. Boil pork until about ¾ cooked, then remove and let cool.
  2. Season with jerk seasoning, salt, and black pepper.
  3. Marinate for a few hours or overnight.
  4. Preheat grill over hot coals.
  5. Grill 40–45 minutes, turning frequently, until cooked through and charred.

Tips and Serving

Traditionally served with festival, bammy, or hard dough bread. Marinating overnight deepens the flavor.
